Cavapoo - Koby ( formerly known as Louie) Special needs please read bio Cavalier King Charles Spaniel & Standard Poodle Mix Omaha, NE

Koby is a 10 year old cavapoo that was recently returned to the rescue. Koby weighs approximately 30 pounds. He enjoys his daily walks and he is potty trained. Koby is occasionally protective of his people when he is around strangers. Koby loves to play with his dog beds. He has pulled the stuffing out of a couple beds in his foster home.


Koby gets along with other dogs, however, he is not a fan of small children. Koby will require a home with a secure fenced yard and that does not have small children.


Koby has anxiety and hypothyroidism. He is not currently on medication but he will need to be monitored in case he needs the medication again. He also has some issues with the fur on his back. Koby also has a grade 4 heart murmur and he will need some more tests on his heart.

UPDATE: Koby had his echocardiogram and his dental. He lost 5 teeth. Koby will also have to be on vetmedin for the rest of his life. The medicine is approximately 100.00 a bottle and lasts for 50 days. He will also need to have his heart checked at the cardiologist every 6 months.

Koby's adoption fee is 400.00 and he will be ready for adoption after his dental and echocardiogram. ( tentatively mid May)
