Meet Catalina

Attention Please! Catalina and her siblings are still available if they are still posted here. All the information is written in the description below. Submit your application directly after reading everything down below.

Catalina and her siblings were rescued from Muscoy, CA. They were found in a scrap metal yard with their mom. When found, all the puppies were roaming in the yard without enough food or water. They were hiding behind different metal parts. When the rescue contacted the owner of the yard, he said that the dogs are a litter of his female dog. The mom was so weak and did not feed them enough milk. The rescue asked the owner if PetEmber can take the puppies so that they can get better care and get prepared for adoption. The rescue also offered to Spay the mom and the owner agreed to let PetEmber take the puppies and spay the mom.

The rescue took possession of all the puppies in a litter of 8 dogs when they were couple of weeks of age and immediately an experienced foster was assigned to bottle feed them with top-of-the-line formula. As usual, The rescue followed a strict feeding protocol to help the puppies grow and survive.

Fortunately, all the puppies survived and stayed in the rescue until 3 months of age. They are now ready for adoption. They are up to date on all their vaccines and they received up-to-date boosters of vaccines. The puppies had parasites acquired from their mom. The rescue followed a deworming schedule until all the parasites they had disappeared in their fecal test. The puppies were administered flea and tick control medication and they are super healthy. All the health paperwork will be handed to the adopter at the time of the meet and greet.

The puppies are not of age to be spayed/neutered yet. The adopter must sign a sterility agreement with the rescue and agree to sterilize the dog at our partnered veterinarian when they become of age (6 months). The expenses of the spay surgery will be covered by the rescue as a part of the adoption fee.

Behavioral-wise, the puppies are mellow. They were socialized with children and people. They are so loyal. They are not fully potty trained yet. So, they still have minimal accidents here and there.

If you think that any one of the puppies matches your criteria in a dog, please consider giving any one of them home.
