_____________
Cash is a 6 month old Australian Cattle Dog (Blue Heeler) who is so sweet and affectionate, but also a bit insecure. He was fearful of strangers and a "submissive wetter" when he came to Red Barn, but those issues resolved quickly.
He is still weary of dogs, no matter how friendly, and though we are working to improve his canine social skills he is still fearful of other dogs. A trip to the dog park would terrify him, but he is seems to feel safer around leashed dogs, as long as his human is in charge of the situation. Cash loves his walks and snuggles and play time with humans!
We seek a home with someone who will continue to build his confidence and expose him to life, preferable that he not be alone for long hours. And though he is very gentle, he needs a home with no small kids just because they can be unpredictable and he is too nervous for surprises. He wiggles all over for affection from familiar faces. He just needs to develop trust to bond.
Handsome Cash weighs just over 30 lbs now but is still growing. He is mostly housetrained and great on leash. He is looking for a secure, stable home in which he can build trust and grow.
Cash is neutered, vaccinated as age-appropriate and up to date on flea and heartworm prevention. Our $350 adoption fee helps cover these expenses.
