Carson Golden Retriever Mix Villa Park, IL

Hi! My name is Carson, but my foster family calls me Joey or JoJo because I am actually a baby kangaroo (look at how I sit!). Just kidding, but I am a pretty silly boy. I am a Golden Retriever mix and my foster mom thinks I have the temperament of one, too. I am about 4-5 months old and weigh 25 lbs. I love to be near people and divide my time pretty equally between my foster parent and my teenage kids (snuggling up for a nap is THE BEST!). I love to play tug with my dog friends and to chase a ball with my people friends. I have a very soft mouth when playing and taking treats. I’m learning how to walk on a leash and go up and down steps but I’m learning fast. I respond well to positive attention and take corrections very quickly. I may have taken a shoe or two but am not an aggressive chewer so no damage done before I was reminded that I should chew on something else. I would love to have a brother or sister doggo and maybe even some kids. I’m not a runner, but do like to explore so daily walks or a fenced yard would be great!

The adoption fee of $500 will include spay/neuter, microchip, age appropriate/required vaccinations, treatment for heartworm and any other necessary medical treatment to assure a healthy new pup for your family.
