Meet Caramello

Meet Caramello! He is a precious 3 year old wheatie mix who is looking for a forever home! Caramello weighs around 26 lbs and is housetrained to a doggy door. He found himself in a shelter with his 11 brothers, and sisters when the owner died, and the family was left with 12 dogs to care for which is quite a large number! We were able to take 5 of the siblings, and the others went to other rescues. He is super sweet, and gets along with other doggies considering how many he previously lived with in his former home. Caramello loves children and he lights up when they are around. He has a non-shedding coat and super silky hair. He’s such a happy boy who loves people and other dogs. Caramello’s idea of a happy home would include a nice sized back yard, children, and at least one other dog.
If you're interested in meeting this sweet boy please go to our website www.okwestierescue.com to complete/submit an application. We promise to take it from there, and Caramello can't wait to meet you to hopefully join your family!
Caramello’s adoption fee is $300 and is tax deductible.

NOTE: You must complete and submit an application and be approved to adopt prior to being able to meet the dog. The requested tax-deductible adoption donation is $400 for our purebred/designer puppies, $300 for up to age 7 and $150 for ages 8 and older.
We do not ship our pets. Be prepared to travel to Tulsa, OK, or Oklahoma City, OK, or the location where this dog is fostered to pick up your dog in person if your application is approved. Once you are approved, you may adopt any of our dogs that is a good fit.
We are a non-profit organization that spends our adoption fees and donations on vaccinations, surgeries, various medical tests, medicines, food and supplies needed by our dogs. Our fees do not cover the overall expenses incurred by the care of our dogs, but they do help defray the costs involved. We thank you for your support.
