Meet this very handsome and playful guy "Caramel". He arrived after being taken out of a bad situation by an Animal Control Officer. Caramel has found himself homeless, alone and looking for a second chance at a good life. He is a sweet senior who arrived with open wounds on the backs of his ears, pressure soars in multiple locations and since being here he has put on 10 pounds. His skin has cleared up and his ears are now healed. He absolutely loves toys and you will see him walking the halls of the shelter with a stuffy in his mouth. Caramel just wants be with you, he loves to cuddle and give kisses. He enjoys a good dog bed and will curl right up in it. Caramel should not be spending his days and nights in a kennel, he has lots of love to share with you and tons of loyalty to show you. He loves everyone he meets, he has been social with dogs at the shelter and will require a meet and greet with a dog. No cats please, he will do best with kids over the age of 14. He knows sit and is happy to do so for a cookie. This guy is not asking for much, just a family to love and home to call his own. Caramel is 59.2 pounds, 7ish years young, up to date on vaccinations, micro-chipped and heartworm negative.
