If a dog/puppy is still listed on Petfinder- we are still accepting applications for them***<br/><br/>Caramel is currently in a foster home in Houston, TX and can transport to the PNW on 3/31.<br/><br/>Meet Caramel from the Coffee litter!<br/><br/>Caramel was born on January 2, 2021 so she is around 11 weeks old. Her momma is a golden retriever and we are told that her dad is a German shepherd. Her momma was loose running on the streets so it is VERY possible there are multiple "puppy daddies". We suspect her to have some chow-chow in her potentially due to her fluffiness and some of her siblings having purple on their tongues. There could be aussie or cattle dog somewhere in the mix, but we have no proof or evidence of this other than her markings.<br/><br/>Caramel and her siblings were seen rummaging through the trash with their momma looking for food. Someone sent us the pictures and we quickly went to get them off the streets! Sadly, we found out they were all owned and still living in these conditions, but thankfully the owner agreed to surrender momma and all of her babies to us! <br/><br/>Caramel is a typical puppy and loves to play! Her foster momma says she's super sassy mixed with a cuddle bug! Caramel loves her people and loves to be held. Caramel & her siblings have exhibited typical puppy behavior while with their foster mom. They chew (they have chewed up base boards & internet cords), they're not fully potty trained (they're definitely getting there), and they dig holes to keep themselves entertained! We are looking for a home for Caramel who will be patient with her and who will work with her through the potty training. We are also looking for a home who will enroll Caramel into puppy obedience classes as she will need to learn basic puppy manners.<br/><br/>Caramel has not received her rabies vaccination yet since this is recommended to be received at 4 months of age. It's important to remember that until she is fully vaccinated to keep her out of public places and away from strange dogs (whose vaccine status is unknown). Caramel will be spayed at 6 months old.<br/><br/><br/>***Listed BREED and AGE - We are taking our best guess on age, breed and size when fully grown. We rarely know a dog's exact age nor are we able to tell the true or full breed mix of dogs as our information is limited most of the time. ***<br/><br/>The first step in our process is filling out an application. We will review your application as soon as we are able- there are two of us and we do the best that we can.
