Meet Canelo

Looking for a family dog? Canelo is a three year old Pitbull surrendered by his owners because they were unable to care for him. He is fully house trained, knows several commands including sit, lay down, leave it, high five and shake. He is crate trained, although his foster mom has him in the crate sparingly. He is very gentle and puppy-like, he loves to snuggle and sleeps near his owner. He loves to play outside with the frisbee or tennis ball and would do best with a family with kids who want to treat him like one of the family, taking him with them when they go on outing or to the dog park or even just for a drive. He is great on the leash and is okay meeting new dogs, but would not do well in a house with cats. He has no idea how big he is and is convinced he is a lap dog. His ears were clipped by his previous owners, but unlike the professional boxer he is named after, he is really a giant snuggle buddy and has not shown aggression.
