Meet Cannellini!

Cannellini is a 1-year-old female Pit Bull/Boxer mix, and weighs 50lbs. She is currently in a foster home in SAN ANTONIO, TX, but can transport to her forever home once an approved adopter is lined up. Cannellini is spayed, potty-trained, and ready to bring joy to her future family.

Cannellini and her siblings—Chickpea, Lima, and Pinto—were rescued by one of our fosters in San Antonio. She has been well-socialized with other dogs, cats, and children, making her a friendly and adaptable companion. While she does well with kids, we recommend a home with children over 10 years old or families who understand and respect animal behavior cues.

Cannellini’s mix of Pit Bull and Boxer gives her a playful, energetic spirit. She loves romping around the yard, snuggling up for belly rubs, giving affectionate kisses, and, of course, indulging in tasty treats. Her goofy personality and zest for life are sure to make you smile every day!

This smart and curious girl is making great progress on her potty training and is comfortable in a crate. She’s still learning to walk confidently on a leash, so her adopters should be ready to continue her training with patience and consistency. A structured routine will help Cannellini thrive as she settles into her new home.

Cannellini would do best with a family that’s excited to help her continue growing into her best self. She’s eager to learn and will benefit from ongoing training—whether self-taught or with the help of a professional. She’s young, full of potential, and looking for a family that will guide her with love and patience through her transition.
