Meet Canella! She is a beautiful 2 year old silver Lab/ Pit mix. Canella was surrendered with what we think is her son, Cannello. Canella is very sweet and knows not to jump for attention. She can sit for treats. She would be okay to be adopted without Cannello but it would be nice if they could stay together. When you see these dogs in the kennel, Cannello is a attention hog so it is hard to give Canella attention. Madison Oglethorpe Animal Shelter is a non-profit shelter serving over 720 square miles. We are open intake, meaning we can not turn away animals from either county we serve. Our shelter intakes double or triple it's capacity every month so it is essential we place animals quickly into adoptive homes. Since so many animals enter the shelter we often don't have enough volunteers to write an individual bio for each. Viewing and adoption hours at our shelter are Wednesday through Sunday from 12 PM to 5 PM.
All adoption fees include age-appropriate vaccinations, flea treatment, deworming, and spay or neuter, microchip, and adoption packet.
Fees:
Dogs over 6 months old: $100
Puppies under 6 months: $200.
Cats and Kittens are $75 ($65 without microchip).

If you rent you must bring your lease or a letter from your landlord stating you may adopt.
