We adopt out our dogs locally in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico as well as Canada and the United States. Once adopted we fly the dog with a volunteer flight angel to their forever home (nearest airport.)


Dear Diary,

This morning, I woke up feeling tired as if the night escaped too early, and I have not rested… Maybe the new surroundings, unfamiliar sounds and smells caused my body to stay awake. Who knows what is lurking in the dark? ??I am not worried about a night hunting animals to carry me away (I am safe, and besides, I am a medium size girl who weighs 31 lbs.) While I do not consider myself large, I am not a pocket pup. I am a yellow lab mix, and past the puppy stage of life (3-year-old). ???

I have come to The SULA Society in hopes of finding a loving home. You may wonder how I got here… As a rescue my biography is scarce, and details of my past unknown. Furthermore, for inquisitive minds, no we do not know who my parents are, or if I like yogurt. Life has not revealed culinary treasures to me until now – I am getting delicious raw food that is ground daily!???? I realize that my future home may have other offerings in mind, and I do not place a raw food requirement in my adoption plight. However, I ask of you to be my forever person or a family. I hope to rest my head and close my eyes for a nap knowing that I am yours, and you are mine till the end of time. Are you ready to share your life with me?

We are a group of volunteers led by mother-daughter team Barbara and Lisa who provide veterinary care, shelter, and rehabilitation for dogs in Puerto Vallarta.
