Meet Canela!
Canela found herself at the Amarillo shelter after getting loose and chasing a bike. Owners were located and come to find out they just didn't want her anymore so left her at the shelter. When she was picked up she was found with barbwire around he leg that is healed as well as it will get and no additional treatment will be needed.
Canela is a super sweet 2 year old girl that loves people and does well with other dogs that are close to her size and submissive, she doesn't like small dogs. She truly would be best as the only dog in the home. Canela is not a fan of cats or bikes going by.

Canela overall would be best as an only dog with someone who can dedicate time to her training. She has unfortunately been failed many times due to lack of being trained and truly needs to gain her confidence and learn that her forever home is out there.
Canela is already fully vetted and ready to find her forever home!
