Candy Pawp came to us from an accidental litter in Bakersfield, an area that is severely struggling with an animal overpopulation crisis. Sadly, puppies like her often end up in overcrowded kill shelters or dumped as strays. Luckily, a rescuer stepped in and brought her and her brother to Shelter Hope.<br/><br/>At just 5 months old and 14 pounds, this adorable Chihuahua is a sweet blend of playful energy and gentle charm. She may take a moment to check out her surroundings, but it doesn’t take long for her to dive right in. Once she feels comfortable, Candy loves to run, chase, and show off her adorable puppy zoomies. She’s curious, fun-loving, and an overall happy baby girl.
