She found herself at a high kill shelter when her owner brought her in along with another dog and said he didn't want them any more. Sad for Candy and her friend, but now we can find her a loving forever home that will value her and care for her as she truly deserves. She was very thin when she first arrived, which gives us a hint at what her life had been like, but now she is a nice healthy weight and looks beautiful. Candy has met other dogs, both male and female, and has been friendly and social with all with slower introductions. She's a more mellow girl and nothing seems to ruffle her feathers.. except cats!. It has been determined that our sweet Candy would definitely do best in a home with NO CATS! Candy is beautiful mix of Bully and Boxer with the cutest nub tail that wiggles when she happy doing her favorite thing, which is being loved on. A real sweet treat, Candy is very pretty to boot sporting a very dark, shiny coat with a white blaze. This girl has already been spayed and she is current with vaccinations. She was recently treated for heart-worm disease and she is micro-chipped, too! Candy's suggested adoption donation is $300 to help with the cost of ongoing vet bills.
