Meet Candy
Candy wants ALL your attention. She wants to be rubbed until infinity ends. She loves to walk and loves treats even more. She takes them very nicely. We are doing our best, but she's very stressed here at the Shelter. Candy doesn't do well with other animals, so she would need to be the only pet. But she's been waiting for her forever home for a long time and she doesn't want to share it with anyone but you!
She would do ok teenagers, but not younger kids, only because she's a bowling ball. A fenced-in yard would be best for Candy as she's very active. She deserves a good doggy bed, some pittie pajamas, lots of toys, and oodles of love. About 50-60 lbs,
She is so loving and just wants to play all the time. She is up to date on all vaccinations and has been spayed. She just needs a home of her own and out of the shelter.

THE BASICS:
My name is Candy
On my last birthday, I was 3
I am a girl
I've been homeless since October 18, 2022
THE GOOD STUFF:
My best trick is giving pooch smooches!! C'mon over and let me plant one on you. xo
Me in three words: cuddly, funny, sweet
How I feel about other critters: I'm all the pet you need, thank you very much!
My absolute favorite thing to do in the world is to run around and then cuddle with my humans...if only I had some of my own!
This is what I dream about when I dream about my perfect person or family: a household where people will pay attention to me and not pass my by just because of my breed. I heard that discrimination is a bad thing, amiright? I'm the loviest dog you'll ever meet...fur-real!
I'd do best in a home with kids 13+ so I don't knock over little tikes with my wiggly butt!
An active family would be divine, but I'm open to a less busy home if I had a fenced yard to get out my energy. Oh, I'm kind of a strong girl and still learning how to walk nicely on leash, so...did I mention a fenced yard?
Mostly I just need a chance. I've been homeless way too long and am losing hope!
