Hello there! My name is Candy, and I'm looking for a loving forever home. I was originally found as a stray around Halloween, which is how I got my sweet name. After spending some time at my local animal services facility, I was transferred to LOHS, where I've proven to be a delightful and easy houseguest. I've had the pleasure of living in a foster home with two kitties and even enjoyed being the queen of the castle in an adoptive home for many months. Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, a new canine resident moved into my castle, and I had to search for a new home. I prefer the company of people and don't much like being around other dogs. I've bravely completed my heartworm treatment, following the American Heartworm Association's guidelines, and I'm now ready for a fresh start. Being back at the shelter isn't making me happy. I long for a quiet place to rest my head, preferably with a comfy couch. If you're looking for a loyal and loving companion, I'm your girl. Let's make some wonderful memories together!
