MEET CAM
Cam is personality personified! This sweet, friendly, happy-go-lucky youngster is approximately 1 years old and has a predominately white coat with large black splotches scattered around his body, along with smaller fainter spots, and black on his ears and around his eyes. Cam is a medium-sized dog weighing around 36 pounds and his breed is a mix of Lab, Hound, and Pointer…just a really handsome boy!
Pulled from our local animal shelter where he had been there for several weeks with no one coming to claim him, Cam seems to adapt easily to new environments and situations. He is smart, energetic, playful, and loves to play in the yard – even when it’s raining! He catches on quickly to commands and would probably do very well in a training class. Cam has the sprightly, bouncy energy of a pup, but that doesn’t mean that he can’t quickly settle down for some serious snuggling. This precious boy doesn’t mind getting in your lap, if you’ll let him! He has a sweet spirit, a cute personality, and is just fun to spend time with – he’s the kind of pup that people find irresistible!
Cam will need a fenced yard if left outside unattended at all, but he is not to be a strictly outside dog – he is too social to be left alone and he wants to be with those he loves. Cam should make a wonderful family pet and should be great with children over the age of 8 (he might accidently bump into a younger, smaller child with his youthful exuberance). We have started on his crate training, and Cam is up to date on his vet care, is heartworm negative, is microchipped, and is neutered. He is on heartworm and flea/tick prevention.
So, if you’re looking for a “best in show” kind of dog, then Cam is your boy – he’s got it all!?
