Calico Jack Pointer & Cattle Dog Mix Thompson's Station, TN

We are ready to find Calico Jack's home!!! He has been doing rehab and has gotten so strong! You will always be able to see a difference in the leg, but clearly it does not hold him back from doing his thing. He is now about 7 months old, weighs about 40 lbs, is likely a bird dog/catttle dog mix. He loves other dogs and is fantastic with older people, teenagers and up. He has not been around young children and is honestly afraid of them. He does have all the puppy energy you might find in a 6-12 month old if his breed mix, so he would do best with active owners and he would love nothing more than to have a canine playmate. He has lived in a multi dog household, has been crate trained and rides well in the car.
Also, because this is important...Calico Jack's super power is his stink eye. He will literally always look at you like you just made the most ridiculous statement....and who knows....maybe you did!!!! But he loves you none the less, because his other super power is absolute sweetness.

Calico is up to date on shots and preventatives and is microchipped. His adoption fee is $250 plus any additional donation you feel appropriate. Our adoption fee is set to a level to make adoptions happen. They do not cover our costs. Thank you for your generosity and interest in our dogs!

All dogs adopted locally through SGDR receive a free six-week session of obedience classes and a lifetime of behavior support through our Project REWARD program with trainer Charlotte Blake.
