Meet CAIN!

MEET CAIN!

This sweet as sugar boy is named Cain! At around 8 years old, Cain was surrendered to Philly's animal control shelter because the other dog in his home kept picking on him. Fortunately, he didn't spend too much time in the shelter before coming to City of Elderly Love. He's now in foster care living with other dogs who he loves playing with and children! This gem is ready to land his dream home!

Cain is just about as great as they come! He loves meeting everyone he crosses paths with - men, women and kids! He's done well when meeting other dogs and is currently in foster care with a large and a small dog. They play very well together and also like to snuggle up on the couch at the end of the day. Cain has great energy for an older dog and will happily go on a hike or trip to the shore, but is also happy to play the role of couch potato. Cain lives in foster care with younger kids and absolutely adores them. He likes to try to snuggle up with them and gives them gentle kisses. Actually, he loves giving everyone kisses! He'll even give your chin or hand little "love nibbles" or "corncobs" when he'd like your attention but will stop when you ask him too.

Cain's one thing is that he doesn't love the crate. He happily sleeps in his fosters' bedroom at night, but is crated while they're at work. He does best in an airline-style crate. His future family may need to help him adjust to the crate in his new home. Cain has been fully vetted since coming to the rescue and is healthy. This sweet, well-rounded boy is a catch! Don't pass on your chance to adopt him!

Cain is available for adoption through City of Elderly Love! He is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. He is also heartworm and lymes disease negative. Interested in adopting him?
