Meet Caesar
Caesar is honestly a real gentleman. This guy is about 7-years-old and overall very chill.
Caesar has a sad story. He was missing from his family for over three months and in that time his family moved away. Thankfully, Caesar was seen running around an area and quick-thinking ACO's stepped in to trap him! Caesar was trapped on the coldest day on record. We are so happy he was able to survive!
This guy has a sizable lump on his leg and testing found out it is mast cell cancer. We will be having it removed with hopes that Caesar has many great years ahead. Of course, there is always chance of reoccurrence but we feel strongly Caesar deserves an amazing home!
Caesar can be a tad dominant with new dogs but quickly backs off. We feel he can live with another calm dog in the home and coexist nicely.
This guy would be ideal in a teen and adult home. He can be a bit fixated on toys (although not aggressive) and is a heavy chewer. He will likely find kids toys really fun and we want to avoid any destruction!
Caesar is really a good guy. He loves his time outside, is housebroken and will bond quickly with his people. He deserves all the happiness a dog can get.
All dogs are fixed, vaccinated, dewormed, flea treated and heartworm tested before adoption. Adoption fees are $360 for a dog, $460 for a puppy, and $250 for a dog with special needs or senior over 10 years old.
Open hours are Wednesdays 1:30-6pm and Saturdays 10am-2pm for you to come view our adoptable pets. You can apply for animal at the shelter during our open hours or online by emailing adopt@scituateanimalshelter.org and asking for an application.
Meet and greets with animals are scheduled after applications have been processed and we’ve determined you are the best fit. We do not operate on a first come, first served basis.
We do not respond to PetFinder inquires; we only respond to emails sent to adopt@scituateanimalshelter.org regarding adoption inquires.
