Cadbury Pit Bull Terrier Greenfield, OH

Meet Cadbury! This lovely, loving lady appears as though she has been through hell. Her video on our Facebook page has been seen by over 16,000 people and loved and liked by over 1,400. Sadly, it’s because of the poor state she was in when we picked her up. She’s covered in sores, thin and her ears have been cut so severely (cropped) that she hardly has any left. And yet… she wags her tail and leaps to greet us whenever we approach her or her 9 babies. (That she was originally very protective over.) She is an incredibly special lady, so we will be looking for an incredibly special match as her forever friend and family. She and her 9 babies were saved from euthanasia on the last day. They will never know how close they came or how some felt their beautiful souls were disposable. And we are eternally grateful for that. She is very new to the rescue and obviously is not yet spayed but will be prior to adoption. She will be ready for adoption around the same time as her pups. So, at least another couple weeks. Right now, we are focusing on getting her healthier.

I have left 2 pics up from her intake. The rest are current. She is quite a wee chunky butt now and her skin and fur are gorgeous. Her eyes and ears and healed and she is now fully vetted.
