Cabalene Teal Doberman Pinscher & Boxer Mix Thompson's Station, TN

Cabalene is an appx 9 month old female Doberman/Boxer mix. We did do her DNA through embark and can provide that information. Where I see the doberman in her is mostly on the physical side....she is tall and lean. Her one behavioral trait that is very Dobie, is her quality deep bark when she feels you need to be alerted to something. Other than that she is much more boxer, I think. She is very active, a total goof ball, bounces around, but then runs and leaps like a gazelle. Her mannerisms are very human and child like. For instance the playful way she looks at you before she gets the zoomies!! Or as she contemplates her next move!!!
Dogs like Cabalene aren't necessarily rare...... but they are a treasure. I love this girl. I love her mischief, her love of life, and the energy she shines on the world.
She could be fine as an only dog as long as she has an extremely active human to help burn some extra energy. If she does have another dog in the household, they need to have that same play energy or she will push their buttons trying to get them to play. She needs a playful companion who not only wants to play tag, dig holes, tug on the same toys and have a battle of the wits....but also pile up during nap time. She craves that physical touch with her humans and her friends. She is also happy to have as many playmates as possible. She is a fantastic pack dog. She crates so beautifully it'll make you teary eyed, because you just feel so grateful for a dog who looks at you, reads your mind, and basically goes to her crate and shuts the door behind her. She loves car rides and outdoor adventures. I'm not gonna say her manners are the best, because she knows how to open every door and does not hesitate to do so if she wants, but she is generally only doing it to check in on you!! She has a great bark to alert you and it will only get deeper from here, but she does not abuse her gift. She loves a yard, but would really appreciate some good leash walks!!!
She is undeniably one of the best I have ever had the pleasure to love. Did I mention what an A plus snuggles she is????? Good grief she loves to cuddle with you!!!!
She has done great with her house training and is very well crate trained.

Cabalene is up to date on shots and preventatives and is microchipped. Her adoption fee is $250 plus any additional donation you feel appropriate. Our adoption fee is set to a level to make adoptions happen. They do not cover our costs. Thank you for your generosity and interest in our dogs!

All dogs adopted locally through SGDR receive a free six-week session of obedience classes and a lifetime of behavior support through our Project REWARD program with trainer Ashley Reum.
