He is one of the dogs we were fortunate enough to rescue from Mississippi where they lived in outdoor elevated boxes and stood on chain link. He is having SO MUCH FUN learning about dog beds and gentle loving hands that make him know he is loved and appreciated. He is a gentle guy himself and seems to have a fairly moderate energy level. Byron does well on leash and in his crate. He is friendly with the other dogs in his foster home. He has even gotten frisky enough to play some. Byron has deep soulful eyes as you can tell from his picture. Lucky is the person who adopts this boy because he has a gift for your heart. Byron has a start on housetraining but his neuter surgery is very soon and that will help a lot. He is heartworm positive and his treatment is scheduled the first week of April.
