We will form a line like usual based on who has an active and approved application in. We will go through our line to set up a private meet and greet for potential adopters to foster.

Buzz, 9 year old, male, Chihuahua mix

Buzz is an older gentlemen with a big personality! He is currently in a foster home with other dogs, cats and teenage kids. He LOVES walks and has plenty of energy to join you on mellow adventures! He is super loyal and loves his people. He will make a great companion for a quiet household that just needs some dog love.

Please note, Animal Adoption Center cannot guarantee the breed, composition or ages of our dogs as we usually have no history prior to them entering the rescue. We make every effort to ensure the dogs are healthy.

Please know that our intention is to insure long lasting committed homes for the animals at the AAC. If we feel that an animal and a potential owner are not a good fit we reserve the right to refuse adoption.

-We require potential adopters to foster a dog for at least one night prior to adopting once they have an approved application submitted.
-We welcome out-of-area adopters, but please be aware we do require prospective adopters to come to our facility and meet the animal in person. You may either foster the dog locally in pet friendly lodging (preferably with any other dogs you own) or if you choose to drive the dog back home you agree to drive the dog back to Jackson if the dog isn't a good fit. Before you make the trip we encourage you to fill out an adoption application and submit it, to be sure you will qualify to adopt. Adoption applications can be filled out on our website. We cannot "hold" any animal. We have a "first qualified adopter can foster first" policy.
-We will not ship animals.
