Butters's Story

Meet Mr. Butters!! This beautiful standard Australian Shepherd is a 2023 edition of a deep red tri. Butters is a curious dog, that can be anxious at times. He loves long walks, especially if he can be off leash on secure walking trails in the woods. He wants to meet and interact with everyone he meets. His excitement can be overzealous at times upon first meeting but he calms down quickly. He likes to play ball, and sometimes he likes to play keep away. He loves tug of war, bobble treat toy, and bones. He is ticklish with his feet, and doesn't like to stress on his hair styles, but doesn't mind a good style every now and then. He loves his cuddles, head scritches, and any left excess attention. Butters will nose the door or his harness when he is ready to go outside. He would prefer to be with someone and share all their time, rather than be alone. He is crate and kennel trained and often finds this as a safe place. but if left in there too long he will protest that he is missing out on some sort of fun. Butters is an overall life of the party kind of guy, loves to run, play, please, and be a good boy.

Fine Print: All dogs of NWMNAR are screened at the headquarters in Ada, Mn until they are vetted. They are then transferred to foster homes throughout MN and some into ND so they can get used to lifestyles with a family in a home. Adoption fee for an adult dog is $300 + Mn tax. Adoption fee for a dog over 3 years of age is $300 + Mn tax., pup/dog1 year to 3 years is $400 + Mn tax.
