Butternut is a puppy from a litter of hound mix puppies. She came from a rural location as (1) of the 127 dogs. There were many different dogs that could have been the father and they were all mixed breed dogs. (so the breed type is a guess except for the mother that is a beautiful golden hound named Monarch (who was adopted last year) This was not a breeding situation but a place where these dogs were in several pens and no spay/neuter. They multiplied until the man couldn't afford to feed them all.
Her birthday is 5/21/2022 and is fully vetted.
She will be afraid at first {At least a few weeks) as she has only been with the foster and the other rescue's animals from that location. I don't know how she turned out so shy, but will run at any sudden movements or noise. She will take a very patient family/person that will go her speed to adjust. She is currently used to a dog door and goes in the fenced yard at will with the other dogs.
