Meet Buttercup

Buttercup came into rescue with heartworms, eye issues, skin issues, and extremely underweight. During her time in rescue, she has been working to gain weight and strength. One of her eyes had to be removed but that has made her even happier to be pain-free. She is now (October 2nd) starting her heartworm treatment and will soon be ready to go to her forever home.

She is an extremely sweet and loving girl. She is also very smart. She rides great in the car and she is house and crate trained. She loves every dog she meets and currently resides with both large and small dogs.

She also loves playtime in the yard with a furry friend or a human friend and enjoys going on walks. She would make a good hiking companion as well. Buttercup is a medium energy dog and would be a great addition to a good home.
