Butterball Pomeranian Raleigh, NC

Butterball is a 1.5 year old, neutered male Pomeranian. He came to us as a transfer from another rescue partner as a stray so his history prior to that is unknown. Butterball loves to play with other dogs big and small. He needs work on learning how to walk on leash still, but he has gotten the hang of verbal commands when inside a fenced in yard. It is unknown how he does with cats or small children. Adopters must have a fenced in yard since he is a flight risk and does not know how to walk on a leash yet.

Butterball is crate trained and has not had any accidents inside his crate thus far. He has had two accidents inside the house when loose after coming from the shelter, but for the most part is housetrained. He does bark some when left in the crate at home and will need to continue work. Butterball enjoys being held and snuggling up on the couch with a good blanket, but is also not against running around in the mud on an adventure.

Butterball has been vaccinated with Rabies, DHPP, and Bordetella. He is heartworm negative. He has also been microchipped, dewormed, flea prevention and heartworm prevent. Butterball is now ready to go to a forever home.
