Meet Butter Bear
Butter Bear aka Butters came into a local shelter as a stray and was never reclaimed. He is about 5 years old and weighs 75 lbs. He was very stressed in the shelter and when we first rescued him, but now has adjusted very well!
Butters foster dad describes him as easy going and a well mannered dog. He is crate trained, housebroken, walks well on leash, and knows some basic commands. Butters does well with other dogs and has attended daycare, though is more of a co-exister and would be happy as an only dog too. He does have a strong prey drive and is not a match for cats.
Butters loves to play fetch and requests an ample supply of balls in his forever home! He hasn’t been around children since coming to GSR - we suspect he’d be fine with older children.
