Butter's Story

Butter like most all of our dogs was picked up stray. She was an excellent condition and unfortunately, we assume she was dumped. Butter is chipped, but we have investigated the chip and it leads to a dead end phone number in New York State. We did learn from the chip that she is About 2 1/2 years old and has been spayed, but we were never able to contact an owner via the chip. She has been in our custody well passed her stray hold, and even though she was published on Facebook no owner has claimed her so she is up for adoption. Butter is a beautiful dog and she loves to Fetch and has obviously had some training. At the shelter, it appeared that she might not be good with other dogs, but she has calmed down quite a bit since she first came in and the officers who picked her up, reported that she was playing with our counties bomb dog, who is also a female when they first took her into custody. We would have to say that she might be dog selective or we would definitely have to do a meet and greet with another dog. We are going to assume that she does not like cats. This is a very beautiful dog that has obviously been an inside pet and is going to make a nice companion for the right kind of person or family. If you are interested in butter, please email homes4all@gonetodogs.org<br/>for more information. Please be sure you contact us before coming to visit butter as we do sometimes have irregular hours. This is a beautiful dog that is going to make a nice companion.
