Butler James American Staffordshire Terrier Montour Falls, NY

Oh that face! And, oh that smile! Butler James came to us after a stay at another area shelter where he had arrived as a stray. Hence, we don't know much about his history, but we do know that he is a very distinguished gentleman. He is a joy to walk on a leash, waits quietly and patiently in his kennel, gets along well and gets along well with other dogs. Butler James loves the company of his stuffies and enjoys spending time with his squeaky ball. It may take a bit of time for Butler to warm up to new people, he can appear somewhat aloof and reserved, but once he knows you he's a real love bug! And, he's one of the best wiggle butts we've ever met.

Butler would enjoy a quieter home to offer him, love and consistency. He will reward you in spades! We would suggest a home with older children or adults only as Butler isn't a big fan of a lot of activity or rapid movements. Butler is estimated to be between 3 and 5 years old.
Adoption Fee: $200 (dogs over 1 year) or $250 (dogs under 1 year) includes spay/neuter rabies, DHLPP and kennel cough vaccinations, worming, flea treatment, heartworm testing, heartworm preventative, microchipping and microchip registration fee.
