Meet Buster
Buster is a soulful and sweet young guy looking for a forever family. He would especially love to have a family that will take him swimming often! He’s about one and a half to two years old, weighs 70 pounds, has beautiful caramel eyes, and a shiny black and chocolaty coat. Buster was brought to a shelter when he was found stray after being hit by a car. Even though he’d been injured, his affectionate personality was apparent, and he quickly became a shelter staff favorite. Buster’s injury was to his left hind leg. The injury didn’t require surgery, he has regained strength in that leg, and he loves to run and play now.
Buster is now in a terrific foster home where he is loving being part of a family, and he gets along great with the other dogs there. Buster’s foster mom says “He’s a big teddy bear. He loves to hang out with us and would rather lie with his head on my foot than on a comfy dog bed. He’s not allowed on the sofa at our house, but that training can be easily undone lol! He’s good with my dogs and kids and tested fine with cats… we quickly discovered that Buster loves water and has all the lab qualities everyone admires. And, he was so good at the vet for his check up and getting his nails trimmed, and was a perfect gentleman when we took him to get a bath!”
Buster is housebroken and crate trained. He is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines and preventives. He would love a home where he can participate in lots of family activities, especially swimming!! If you’d like to make this adorable boy a part of your family, please email bigyellowdog.wendy@gmail.com for an application.
PUPS GROW into the expectations of their families through love, care and consistent training. This, more than anything, defines their personalities .Young puppies can only go to homes with small children where the family is "puppy savvy". and has boundaries for both the puppy and the child.
PLEASE REMEMBER: The specific breed of any dog abandoned to a shelter or rescue is only the best informed determination of rescue in agreement with our veterinarians.
