Long walks, short walks, walks at dawn, walks at dusk (and any time in between), walks in the sun, walks in the rain – are you beginning to see a theme here? Buster loves walks!

Buster came to Second City Canine Rescue from Kentucky where he was found as a stray. His pre-Second City life is a mystery but what we know so far about him is this – Buster is approximately a four-year old, 25-pound mix – a lot of this, a pinch of that – blended to perfection with the sweetest, happiest disposition. He is an adorable nugget with modest needs – two squares a day, a comfy place to sleep, a belly rub, a generous supply of treats and don’t forget about those walks. He is loving and lovable, joyful and friendly, with the best disposition. This charmer is all about staying close and snuggling on the couch.

Buster simply loves to be outside, exploring the yard, performing the obligatory perimeter search, soaking up the sunshine or rolling in the grass. He gets along with other dogs and has become fast friends with his canine foster sister. Don’t be fooled by Buster’s shy demeanor – he’s a sit back, get the lay of the land type guy and then, when he feels comfortable, he’s ready to roll.

Buster would love to find a home where his people will lavish him with affection. He is an easy going, lovable lug who will make a wonderful companion and a delightful addition to any family.
