Meet Burt

Burt came to us as an owner surrender. His family moved out of the country and he was taken in by a family member. Unfortunately, their dog did not get along with him, therefore they contacted us so they wouldn't have to take him to a shelter.

Burt is an itty bitty 8-year-old Chihuahua weighing in at 9 lbs. When he meets people, he is shy at first but when he warms up he is a loyal little buddy. He loves to cuddle and sit on your lap. Belly rubs are his favorite but walks are up there too. He is good with grown-ups but is still a little iffy with kids. However, he is fostered with kids and does well with them since he has lived with them. He is also fostered with other dogs, big and small, and has no problem with them. He loves to play with dogs his size. Burt knows how to us the doggy door.
