Meet Bunny
A Gentle Girl with a Brave Heart
Bunny didn’t come to us wagging her tail and begging for belly rubs. She came to us quietly, curled protectively around a belly full of pups, found alone and pregnant on the street. We brought her to safety, and just days later, she gave birth — in a warm bed, with food in her bowl, and people finally looking out for her. She raised those babies with patience and love, and now, for the first time, it’s her turn to be cared for.
This 40-pound lab mix is sweet, soft, and shy — the kind of girl who won’t be the first to say hello, but will slowly start to inch closer, watch you with those big, soulful eyes, and eventually rest her head gently on your hand. She flinches at fast movements and new sounds, but every day she grows a little braver. Her favorite discovery so far? Ear scratches. She’s a sucker for them. Oh, and treats — if snacks were currency, she’d be a billionaire by now.
Bunny has a quiet love that sneaks up on you. It’s in the way she follows you from room to room without needing anything, the way she waits her turn for treats, and how she sleeps soundly when she knows you're near. She’s not here for the spotlight, but she is here for someone who will give her the time and patience to bloom.
