Meet Bunny

Bunny was originally adopted through Home for Good as a precious 5-month-old puppy in July of 2022 (see photo for reference). It was just the other that after nearly TWO years of living in the same home, Bunny became an until dog.

Bunny was surrendered back to Home for Good Dog Rescue just today. The reason? Her former owners claimed that after two years of companionship, someone in the family developed an allergy to Bunny, and they no longer had time for her. But we cannot ignore the truth behind their deceitful words.

It is evident that Bunny's return was not due to allergies or lack of time. No, Bunny was cast aside by owners who simply did not want to deal with her anymore. They also have a two-year-old child and apparently one cannot have both a dog and a baby. Their actions speak volumes of their disregard and cruelty towards an innocent soul who trusted them with all her heart.

Upon her return, our hearts broke to see Bunny's condition. Over 15 pounds overweight, her once vibrant white fur dull and greasy, and suffering from a severe untreated skin infection all over her body. To add to the neglect, Bunny had never received even basic medical care in the two years she was owned. Her previous owners deemed it unnecessary

But amidst the despair, there is hope. Bunny is now back where she belongs in the loving arms of Home for Good Dog Rescue. Now back in a warm and loving foster home, Bunny will receive the nourishment, medical treatment, and unconditional love she deserves. Her journey to recovery has begun, and we are committed to seeing her through every step of the way.

No longer will Bunny be an "until dog," discarded when inconvenient. She is destined for a forever home filled with love, compassion, and unwavering devotion. With your support, we will ensure Bunny finds the happily ever after she so rightfully deserves.

Join us as we rally behind Bunny in her journey from neglect to love. Together, we can rewrite her story and give her the fairytale ending she was always meant to have. Stay tuned for updates on her progress.

Bunny is spayed, up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations, and microchipped.
