Bunny’s FAQs

What is Blue Ridge Humane Society’s adoption process?

Thank you so much for your interest in adopting! The next step would be for you to visit our website, www.blueridgehumane.org to fill out an application. You will click on the photo of the animal you are interested in to fill out the application. Once submitted, an adoption counselor will reach out to you about the next steps toward your adoption and answer any questions you have. You are welcome to come in at any time! No appointment is needed! If you plan on doing a same-day adoption these are the necessary materials: All dogs must leave our adoption center with a leash, collar, and ID tag. All cats must leave our adoption center inside an appropriate cat carrier with a collar, and ID tag. You are able to purchase these items from our adoption center if necessary, for a small fee. We look forward to hearing from you and hope we can line up an adoption for you!
