Meet Buddy

Socrates, Dottie and Buddy have a tragic backstory. They were originally a family of five dogs and their loving Mom. They were living in a trailer and the Mom was unable to pay rent for two years. Unfortunately, the landland and another person set the trailer on fire. Mom perished when she went back into the trailer to rescue the dogs. Mom and two of the dogs did not make it out.

Buddy is a calm, quiet heeler/possibly lab mix at one year and 38 lbs. Socrates would squeeze in the dog house to be with Buddy at night. Buddy has just finished his heartworm treatment and can go home at the end of August.

Dottie is an adorable 2 1/2 year old dachsund mix. So cute with her half black and half white face. She is sweet! Loves attention and is very affectionate.
