Meet Buddy
This adorable hound boy is Buddy!
Buddy is an approximately 4-month old Hound mix and currently weighs 25 lbs., will weigh around 55-65 lbs. as an adult. He was rescued after being born in the back of a horse trailer by a stray Mom.
Buddy is a loooooong lanky guy! Buddy fits the description of a typical hound dog. First thing in the morning he likes to go outside and sniff the yard to see what new scents he can detect. He can be vocal when he feels it is necessary. You will know when he is tired by his long, loud yawns!
Buddy is a typical puppy! He is being raised in a home with children and dogs of various ages. He gets along well with everyone but especially loves his one-on-one play time with humans. Buddy loves his food and can be protective of it. He is at that awkward stage in his development where he is a bit gangly and uncoordinated but when you have legs that rival a giraffe's that is understandable!
He spends most days going in and out of the house, and sleeps in a crate at night. Buddy loves loves loves soft toys and chew toys. He is such a sweetheart and is ready to find his forever home!
Buddy is crate-trained but will need assistance with leash and house-training, although he is making progress. He will need a committed, loving, and patient family to continue his training. Buddy would love a home with another playful dog but he could be adopted by a family/individual without a dog under the right circumstances.
He is neutered, current on age-appropriate vaccines, and microchipped. His adoption fee is $200.
