Buddy Labrador Retriever & Mountain Cur Mix Broomfield, CO

Hi my name is Buddy and the shelter where I came from really wanted to get me into rescue because they said I was such a sweet boy. My foster Mom says they were right! I am a very happy, young guy. I do great zoomies when outside and I play well by myself with toys. I would probably make a great running buddy. I can relax and lay down by your feet or curl up in my crate. I still need a little work on house training. But I make it through the night in my crate without any accidents. I also sleep through the night with out a peep. I am a perfect gentleman walking in my harness. I am not a puller. And I don’t bark near as much as my foster sister. In fact, we saw a moose just off the trail where we were walking. My sister barked up a storm, but I simply looked at it. My tail wags constantly, and I am always checking in with my foster Mom. I haven’t learned a lot of tricks yet, but I sit really well and will come from almost anywhere to be next to you. I wag my tail while I look into your eyes. I am treat-motivated, so I think I will learn fast. I love playing with other dogs and play very well. I will give them a talking to if they are ornery to me. My foster home has a kitty. I have barked at him through a door but leave him alone when called. I’ve been inside with him on the couch and barely noticed. So, I think i could learn to live with a kitty.
