Meet Bucky

This is Bucky, a very handsome boy, super smart, and full of life. Bucky has been dog reactive since he came in, but we recently have started working with him meeting other dogs here at the shelter. He has done well with medium sized dogs - such as beagles - but still has been a bit standoffish towards larger dogs. If you have another dog at home, we would still love to work with you to see if Bucky could get along with them!

If he is adopted to a family with children, they will need to be dog smart, and able to handle Bucky's excitement. Bucky is pushing 90lbs and he could easily knock over a small child.

Bucky definitely does not get along with cats. He also is not a huge fan of water, so baths will be a challenge possibly. If you think you can give Bucky the love and attention he needs, please visit our website and fill out an application today.
