Buck is a Velcro dog- he just wants to be with you.  He is about 80 lbs and just over 3 years old .......


Buck is working his manners, but right now it is a work in progress.  Because he jumps up and can be overly exuberant he would be best in a house with older children so he isn't knocking anyone down. He loves being in a house and thinks that he is a lap dog....


 He loves walking off leash and staying with you, running and playing, and coming back to you when called. He loves WATER and does well with other dogs as long as they don't get in his face. History: Buck came into our partner shelter in Arkansas on Valentines day 2010.   He was dumped in a lady’s yard with his sister and abandoned.  His estimated date of birth is Oct 14, 2009. After entering the shelter he tested positive for heartworm, but has been treated and is once again healthy!  He  has gained 25 pounds and grown into a wonderful young dog.

If this Dog is marked Urgent, it is because the Arkansas shelter where he/she resides is overfull.


. We pay Peterson Express Transport Service to bring the dogs to New England. The adoption fee is $350 for dogs through 6 months of age, $300 for dogs 7 months-5 years, and $275 for dogs 6 years and older; (for bonded pairs: $250.00/per dog). This includes vaccinations, spay/neuter, microchip, heartworm/lyme/erlichea test, worming and for imported dogs: transport on a USDA approved transport with a Health Certificate. All imported dogs are quarantined 14 days prior to leaving Arkansas. Almost Home Rescue will process your adoption.
