FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED:
Meet Brutus! He is a 6-year-old, 94 lb Cane Corso who was found wandering city streets along with his friend, Olive, an ~3-year-old, 78 lb Cane Corso. They do well together and can be adopted together or separately.

Brutus is a sweet, initially shy boy who is independent, smart and knows basic commands. He will need an adopter who can continue his socialization as well as basic obedience. He enjoys going for walks, but he is strong and will require a family that can handle his size and strength. He also does well on car rides. We are looking for a calm, quiet, home outside of the city with a securely fenced yard for him to roam. No apartment or city life for him.

He has done well with other dogs but will require a slow introduction when meeting new dogs due to his large size. He could be fine as an only dog with continued socialization or with another non-dominant dog close to his age/size. No small dogs as he isn’t aware of his size/strength and could accidentally injure them.

We’re looking for an experienced giant breed, preferably Mastiff or Cane Corso owner who understands the needs of these powerful breeds and can provide the structure and handling he requires. Due to his large size and strength, he would do best in an adult only home or with kids 14+.

Brutus is up to date on vaccinations, microchipped and neutered.
