Meet Brutis
2/12/12 update !!! Fundraising is complete and the cost of his surgery is 100% covered. We need to find an adopter that can handle the post surgery 6 week recovery and give him a loving, forever home.
Brutis is a big sweet 2 year old boy who was hit by a car and suffered at torn ligament in his right knee. He also has poor conformation in both hind legs, which is why he has grown bow legged. His ball & socket looks good on x-ray, but the ball end of the femur is not at the correct angle, which has caused the end of the femur by the knee to compensate by "bowing out".
Other than the torn ligament, both legs, ball & socket and his pelvis x-rayed clear - no visible breaks, spurs, chips, calcification or dysplasia.
