BRUNO Pit Bull Terrier Mix Nashville, TN

Bruno is currently fostered in S. Carolina but is available for adoption throughout much of the U.S through our transport program. Bruno crossed paths with our rescue after a good samaritan saw him get hit by a car. After getting examined by a local vet and given the all clear he was released to our rescue. He has been a dream foster.

Bruno's Stats:

~ Male (will be neutered 5/14)
~ 6 mths old
~ 25lbs
~ Pitbull Mix (maybe Lab / Pitbull)
~ Fostered with 3 adult dogs & 1 cat
~ Doing well with house training, but fosters do work from home

From Bruno's Foster:

• Bruno hangs in the office with me most of the day. He’s very good about grabbing a toy, chew stick or stuffed Kong and keeping himself busy until he tires out and naps.
• He sleeps in a crate in the kitchen all night with no problems. A few times he’s been winey when first put up and I just sit outside the crate until he settles which usually isn’t more than 5 minutes, 10 at most.
• He’s not a big eater or very food motivated. Bruno will pick at his food throughout the day (ie: a grazer). Wet food helps but he doesn’t scarf that up either. So far any of the treats we've tried he could really take them or leave them.
• He gets along great with our 3 dogs and listens well when they correct him.
• He tries his hardest to be friends with the cat who bats him away and he runs and sits in the corner until the cat leaves.
• House-training is going well. We work from home so he gets to go outside multiple times day so he's only had one accident which we completely blame ourselves for not getting him out.
• He’s a very quiet puppy, of course he has burst of energy, but as far as puppies go he’s very happy to just chill. He LOVES to be held and snuggled.
• He really hasn’t been mouthy on us or on inappropriate items. Only tried chewing on a piece of furniture once, we corrected him and he hasn’t tried again.
• He’s incredibly friendly. Maybe a tad on the timid side, but I really think he’s just a quiet, low key puppy.

Bruno's adoption fee is $500 which includes his neuter, current vaccinations (rabies, parvo/distemper, and Bordetella), negative heartworm test (if 6+ mths old at transport), negative fecal within 14 days of transport, health certificate within 10-days of transport, registered microchip, and transport costs.

As a Project Freedom Ride direct adoption, the adoption interview/meet and greet would take place on a video call (FB Messenger Call, Facetime, Zoom, Etc). The adoption application and fee would be finalized & paid in full prior to receiving your dog.
