Hello, my name is Bruno. Everyone says I'm a smart boy: I love learning new tricks, it keeps my brain sharp! I have learned all kinds of basic commands and my foster family says I am very good with other dogs. I walk well on a leash, and really do enjoy my walks. Surprise! I am also good with cats, if the cat is calm and used to dogs. I may look like a big, tough guy, but I'm a softie at heart. I do not have a lot of experience with kids and do tend to bark at them, but not in a mean way; I'm just not very experienced with them, so I would probably be better suited to older kids. If you like to throw balls, well, we are a perfect match, because I love to play fetch and even tug of war if you don’t feel like throwing. I really enjoy the water and can swim like a fish. I'm not a fan of wet ears, (is anyone?) but I will chase the water from the garden hose all afternoon! I am house broken and I sleep all night long, so no issues there. I'm also old enough to know the difference between my toys and your stuff, so I won't chew up your shoes. My toys are tastier anyway. I hope you will look past my "tough guy" exterior and see the real me inside, so please consider me for your new family member. Big guys need love too!

Faith and Hope is a multi-state rescue with locations in Texas, Washington, Oregon, Maryland, New Hampshire, and Connecticut. All dogs and cats are rescued from the state of Texas to be transported to Washington, Oregon, Connecticut, Maryland and New Hampshire with placement in their adoptive family’s homes. Our $450 adoption fee includes all core vaccinations (DHPP, rabies, spay/neuter, microchip and transportation).
