Bruin

Bruin looks at every human like "want to be my best friend." This boy must have been starved for love because he seeks it everyday and so deeply. He just wants to be yours!
When we saved Bruin (and his sister) from a large high kill shelter he limped on his back leg. He would follow anyone everywhere and never complained at all or showed pain, but had a limp. We sent him to our vet teams and they assessed he had either been hit by a large fast moving car or thrown from one. His back legs were both injured. So we brought in an orthopedic surgeon and he fixed Bruins back legs. Then we invested and did a few weeks of intense PT and he thrived! He loved the attention and the tasks. Bruin wants to please.
Part of his therapy was in a water tank and that's how Bruin figured out he loves water. He LOVES it! Our pool has a shallow end and every morning he plays with his Jolly Ball and looks at me to get praises for his cute playtime.
We do not crate Bruin, rather he has a "playpen" area in our home that is gated. He seems to like this a lot and is a good boy.
Bruin's ideal family would love him to the moon and back like he loves. His back legs are not perfect, but they work and he is so happy. IF you are looking for a loyal best friend who is smart, learns quickly, loves other dogs and people, he is your guy!
