Say hello to Bruce, the king of zoomies! This 5-year-old Pittie might be a meaty 76 pounds, but don't let that fool you -- he’s still as agile and speedy as can be! And even though he might look quite serious, he’s a goofy guy who will play all day if you let him. Tug of war with his favorite rope toy = pure bliss in Bruce’s book. Bruce knows basic obedience and engages well during training, but he can sometimes forget how big he is and would therefore do best in a home without small children who he could easy knock over. He's also crate and potty trained and does very well in his crate. Bruce is very friendly with women, but he tends to take a little longer to warm up to men and prefers interactions to be on his terms until he’s comfortable. He's fostered with dogs of all sizes and ages, as well as dog-savvy cats, and he’d really love another playful dog who he can zoom around and play tug with. All of our dogs come spayed or neutered, fully up to date on vaccinations, including rabies (if age appropriate) and bordetella, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services, and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals.
