Meet Brownie! He’s the sweetest boy that enjoys laying outside in the sun! Just looking for someone to love him. Brownie came to us extremely shy and a bit of a wallflower. In the short amount of time he has been in foster care he has made some big strides and is learning to dog.
He’s gentle & quiet. Not big on snuggles, but will lay by your side. He has recently discovered toys and likes the ones that squeek! He’s a bit shy at first, but is all tail wags once he warms up. Good with other dogs, kids and people. He walks great on a leash; he will walk on your left side by your knee, listens and doesn't pull. He is working on new commands. It could be that he spent his life living outdoors so it is taking time adjusting to a crate. He sleeps in a bedroom without any accidents. Just look at his sweet face, how can you resist him.

He is currently located in Chicago's southwest suburbs and can be seen by appointment once an adoption application is completed and approved by the rescue. We cannot hold our dogs for any reason. Please do not apply unless you are ready to meet and welcome a new companion into the home within three days of approval.

ADOPTION FEE: $300 (includes spay/neuter, microchip, rabies vaccine, DHPP vaccines, Heartworm and general wellness which includes dewormer, heartworm prevention and flea/tick prevention)
