Meet Brownie

Brownie is in a foster home in Maple Valley, WA and is ready for meet and greets!
Brownie, 8 months old, neutered male, Labrador mix, 60 lbs, vaccinated and microchipped. Brownie and his friend were found wandering around a neighborhood in Houston Texas. He transported to Washington on 4/19.
Brownie LOVES other dogs and would do best in a home with a four legged friend who wants to play. He appears to be happiest with a dog friend. His play can become a little rough at times- keeping in mind he is a puppy learning the ropes.
Brownie picks up on commands really easily. He is absolutely fabulous on a leash. Only pulls when he sees other dogs because he wants to play. He is very happy and friendly with ALL people.
He does not jump a lot and is very eager to please which will make training very doable. He loves to play fetch and chase after a ball in the yard. He won't always drop it at your feet but he will loosen his grip so you can take it out of his mouth. He loves his human and just wants to be everywhere you are.
He is really great with kids. We have no history with cats.
Brownie does have a tendency to counter surf (puppy in him) so he will need continued reminders until he learns differently. He also snores really loudly when he sleeps. He is housebroken.
Brownie is a fun loving dog looking for a home who will continue to provide structure and training through his puppy stage and early adulthood. He would love another dog in the home to play with. He also needs a fenced yard.
